+74vwBus
I have tried to search with no luck. Can anybody tell me what is today's current oldest geocache in Pennsylvania? Thank You! Quote Link to comment

First log a DNF on Jan 1, 2001, and then found in April. Not exactly a rush of seekers ;-) State Games seems to have posted Jan 17 or 18, 2001. No controversy, they placed it right around the time Geocaching.com went live, and people were still just posting their caches on usenet or Mike Teague's website. So they listed their cache only on a Degree Confluence project page. It often does not show up in lists of 2000 placed caches though, since it wasn't submitted to Geocaching.com until 2001. It's actually an easy .20 mile or so jaunt from parking, with only about 200 feet of it "in the woods". Pennsylvania had another 2000 placed cache, GCFF, but that recently went buh-bye.
