Trackable etiquette, should i?..

My sidekick and i recently placed some trackables which we picked up travelled with and dropped off in each others caches in the hope that it would be moved on. However, a cacher in both instances picked up the trackables, noted it in the log, But has not actually grabbed it. So it is still listed in cache. It has been over a week, ample time to log the trackable. My question is. Although i dont own the trackable, Should i message the person and ask them to log/grab it? a) it is still listed in the cache b)i feel guilty for owner who in all likelyhood wants to see the trackable move on. Should i say something to this person who has 1000+ finds. Or should i leave it?. It frustrates me seeing this & puts me off wanting to release my own. Trackables were not listed as to to be kept. Surely a cacher with that many finds would know the protocol?

An inquiry by message or email is appropriate. The experienced cacher undoubtedly knows his to log TBs, and in all likelihood just forgot. Most people in that situation would appreciate having their oversight pointed out so they could correct it.

hmm..i thought that. Just wasnt sure if that was the appropriate action. Have messaged the cacher. Hopefully they will rectify it. Thank you for your input!
