lamoracke
Does anyone know of a macro that will allow you to add your found lab caches to GSAK? Check the forums on the GSAK front. There have been discussions of this in other forums here and on theirs. Personally my advice is... You can add your own waypoints, make up a GC# for each and call it whatever icon you want in the meantime. You could find a GPX file which has the 5 waypoints that someone has already made but honestly, its not any more effective than if you just add them yourself in the meantime and call them what you will until hopefully the day comes (if it does) that the finds file will include these caches and then GSAK will add the lab icon to its database. We had someone make up a file for the 12 lab caches in the PNW but most likely you are speaking about the ones not from the block party but the Hatfield event in Kentucky. Personally I used the "other" icon as that icon does not exist, but others have used different ones. Quote Link to comment
Don_J
You will need to create them manually using Waypoint/Add menu. Each Waypoint Code will need to be unique, and a Name is required. Put in as much or as little info that you want in the other fields. After you create the "cache", if you want it to count as a find in GSAK, you'll need to create a Found log. You can do that with the macro found here: http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=6527&st=0entry179758 Quote Link to comment

Don_J
Please also vote to get the icon added: http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=26136 Clyde, GSAK's developer has made it clear the these will not be added until the information is available in the downloadable GPX file, or from the api. This is consistent with how he has handled all new cache types in the past. Edited October 11, 2013 by Don_J Quote Link to comment
RideTheGeoWalrus
At the Oz Mega event the lab caches page had a link to download a gpx file with all the waypoints in them. All I had to do was import the gpx file into gsak and there they were. It did allocate GC codes by sequential number (i.e. GC-0, GC-1,...) but they can be renamed to anything you want! +Walts Hunting
I am guessing that the GPX file from the event had those numbers. GSAK imports the info and names them what ever is in that file. Quote Link to comment
mmacgown
Don't forget that when you add a waypoint for a lab cache that coordinates have to be entered as well. Just found that out. Quote Link to comment
