+Bandyrooster Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 I got a new computer and have Windows 8.1 installed. My Garmin connected fine but I also have a Magellan eXplorist GC 310 and despite installing a driver and a connector I cannot seem to get the computer to recognize the GPS so I can add a new pocket query even though it shows it when I try to disconnect it. Is there something that I haven't done? Any suggestion or help would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
g_o_caching Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 I had the same problem. Garmin would work, Magellan 310 wouldn't. I had a computer friend come over and he got the Magellan 310 to connect through Google Chrome. I have to switch back and forth but at least I can use it now. Quote Link to comment
