+Lil Devil
No. If the spot is that great, hide a new container and submit a new listing. Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
Can you adopt a archived cache before you replace the container? Any Ideas? If the cache did not belong to you, you should NOT be replacing the container. You should not replace a container for a cache that has been archived. There's not much chance of being able to adopt an archived cache. If you want to put a new cache there, then you will need to go through the steps of placing a new cache. It would need to pass the cache review process, like any other new cache placement. I strongly urge you to read the Guidelines: http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx and the Help Center articles: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php Hiding a Geocache: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.book&id=19 1.1. +T.D.M.22
Why? It would still be archived when you adopt it, so it's really useless to do so. If you want the location, put a new cache there... Quote Link to comment
+ROGERSTONE SCOUTS
It was just a general question that someone asked me the other day. Thank you for your confirmation of what I thought. Cheers. Quote Link to comment
