Newbie to GPS and Geocaching - Help with Garmin Etrex 20

My son and I started Geocaching after he took the Geocaching Merit Badge at BSA Summer Camp. We both use his premium account. We have been using my iPhone and today I got a Garmin Etrex 20 and cannot figure out how in the world to load the geocaches into it. I cannot use the "send to GPS" cause it fails every time...Can someone link me to a post on how to do this step by step without being treated like the idiot that I am please?

Since you have a Premium account, your best bet is to learn Pocket Queries

That send to button has been difficult recently.

Have you been using pocket queries yet? That let's you get all the info for many caches onto the gps.

So where do I load them into my GPS when I get the file? Do I put it in the current folder?

My current gps shows a gpx folder, and gzz folder but I don't know that yours does.

I use the GSAK program to manage my pocket queries. It has a "send to GPS" feature that works pretty good.

I am guessing you are using IE for your browser. Garmin commuinicator fails many times if you read the forums. They recommend Firefox. That being said PQs are your friend.

I am hoping someone with a Garmin Etrex 20 can answer that question for me I guess...

Oh and if you drag and drop make sure you unzip the files first. I've forgotten that a few times.

On my computer, the file path to the GPX files is "F:\Garmin\GPX".
