you can add to your GC profile flag counter, than paste html code in your bio where you can edit your profile. You can create your own flag counter at flagcounter.com, or simply add also to your own homepages, blogs and other websites, it count all hits from different countries. I have it on my profile! :)

I can visit you back giving Latvian flag on flagcounter

If all goes well we should be adding your country (not just your flag) to our list in a few weeks although it doesn't look like we will be near any of your caches.

Hi All!

Is the flagcounter.com properly displayed in your profile or cache page?

I just noticed that all of them are not displayed, although there are definitely within the HTML code.

Weird.

Anyone heard about geocaching.com blocking flagcounter.com?

Hi, i not heard about it. Flag counter on my profile and GC list page works good, everything is ok.

Right now, I am in China, if you need a visit and flag from China and also later Russia, leave a message here

Where in China? I'll be in Beijing for the third time in November. The last time I as in Beijing there were very few geocaches but that's changed quite a bit. I'll only have 1 day free to go caching and will probably spend time at the Old Summer Palace.

I were in Shanghai and in Beijing, but i hadn't a lot time to go caching. Main goal was to find at least one :D Found one with great view to the lake in Beijing at summer palace, there ir a lot of caches now. And even there is some trails in the parks, but with a lot of chinese mugglers. Plus found also 2 virtual caches :) good luck in China

Great idea! You now have another UK visit on your profile.

I've just added a flag counter too so any profile visits are welcome :)

Of course, I forgot to check this forum section while I was in China so didn't add a China flag for anyone while I as there. I only found a few caches (and DNFd one a remote section of the Great Wall).

If I can somehow remember to do it I can add what is likely a rare flag to some user profiles the first week in April. I'm going to be in Cuba for a week.

BTW, I haven't tried this but I had an idea for how to add lots of flags to the flag counter in ones profile. Just pick out a country then look at the listings for a few PMO caches (easy to do with a pocket query) from a few different cache owners. Reload the cache pages a bunch of times and if one or more of the COs had the audit log turned on they just might check out your profile to see who is looking at their cache listing so often.

So far it hasn't provided any new country flags. It's possible that I visited PMO caches on which the CO did not turn on the audit log.

In order to see who is visiting your cache listing the cache has to be published as "Premium Member Only" *and* the audit log has to be turned on. It doesn't look like you have any PMO caches.

My flag counters have disappeared from my profile page, even though the html is all there. Is anyone else having this problem?

Same here. There are all gone from my caches & Profile. What has happened?

Source code and/or web access banned by GCHQ?

Okay, self-reply, and a possible fix.

You need to turn off the Ad Blocker, and/or Whitelist Geocaching.com and/or flagcounter.com, then reload the page. All mine have come back, and probably others will as well.

I just added Ireland to the flag counter for several participants in this thread.

Thanks NYPaddleCacher!

Ireland, confirmed!

Awesome favor, and a great idea to remember.

I wish I would have remembered to do that when I was in Cuba in April but I only had internet access for about two hours the entire week.

This is awesome. I too have a flag counter on my profile, each cache, and even the trackables I release. If you're reading this, poke around my profile and check a couple out.

Happy caching from me to you, from here in Wausau, Wisconsin, United States.

I just added Turkey for you

Gracias! I just creeped on your profile as well! Awesome collection!

Oh, Turkey!

TwoNomadicBrits, are you still in Turkey?

Can I have Turkey in my Profile's Flag Counter as well?

Thanks in advance!

Domo again!!!

Just wondering while checking out other profile's Flag counters, and noticed the difference in the Flag sizes: Mine are somehow small, and zach.ruesch & TwoNomadicBrits has larger flags.

How do I change mine to show larger flag icons?

And, what is the basic syntax for the Flag counter image URL?

For reference, Flag counter image URLs per Profiles:

Mine:

http://s06.flagcounter.com/count/QWVe/bg_FFFFFF/txt_000000/border_CCCCCC/columns_6/maxflags_48/viewers_Visitors+Country+Flags/labels_1/pageviews_1/flags_1/

zach.ruesch:

http://s11.flagcounter.com/count2/pMSE/bg_FFFFFF/txt_000000/border_CCCCCC/columns_8/maxflags_24/viewers_World+Visitors/labels_0/pageviews_1/flags_0/

TwoNomadicBrits:

http://s10.flagcounter.com/count2/kzmR/bg_FFFFFF/txt_000000/border_CCCCCC/columns_8/maxflags_100/viewers_0/labels_1/pageviews_0/flags_1/percent_0/

Thanks,

Have a look at the flag counter site. There are 3 flag sizes, small, medium and large. It is above "Get your flag Counter".

Thanks speakers-corner!

Following the link, I have found the link in the lower-left corner saying "Regenerate HTML". From here, you can edit your existing flag counter. Works nicely.

Also found this in the FAQs "MANUAL CODE MODIFICATIONS".

You are welcome :)

I try and remember to click on my own public profile when we are away, but it's not always possible (for example we took a Caribbean cruise earlier in the year, and I was always looking out for places with free wifi but didn't manage it in every port!). My husband never remembers to click on the profile - he was just in Serbia but no Serbian flag on the profile :( at least he got us some caches though, so I couldn't complain!!

Just editing my own post to say.... well I just looked at my own profile and I have 2 Serbian visits! Must be from someone looking through logs of the caches we found or cache owners checking out their finders. Very happy now

I live here, although we both travel a lot for work. I'm here at the moment, so yep... I just threw you a Turkey

Happy caching :D

Yeah, Turkey!

Thank you for another flag, TwoNomadicBrits!

BTW, not affected by the "Brexit"?

 oh we will most certainly be! Retirement plans for a villa in Tuscany currently being re-written as we speak! I've got two years to visit the rest of Europe before I have to consider a visa and queuing longer at borders

Last weekend I flew from Dublin to Paris and everyone else on the plane (most of them football fans from Ireland) got in the EU Passport line. I think I was the only one to go in the Non-EU passport "line". I walked directly up to the immigration counter. I doubt that a visa will be required to enter the EU for UK citizens since one is not required for other non EU countries like the US, Canada, and Australia.

Hi, right now I am in Serbia, added serbian flag most of you, if you need leave a message here.

Thanks. Between November and next June there's a decent chance I'll be going to Iceland, Greece, Cuba, and Australia. Hopefully I can remember to check the forums while in each country to add flags for others. Cuba will be a bit of challenge due to access to the internet...I only managed to get about an hour of time online when went there in April.

I have one flag on my counter labeled "European Union - Unknown". I wonder how I got that one.

The countries with the most visits on my counter are

1. United States

2. Latvia

3. Canada

4. Germany

5. Australia

What's your top five?
