Night time hunts

Once you find one night cache, there's a good chance that it is on a bookmark list for night caches. You can use that bookmark list to find other night caches.

But to find that first night cache, your best bet is to use pocket queries to find caches with one or more of certain attributes, specifically:

nightcache-yes.gif Night Cache

night-yes.gif Recommended at Night

flashlight-yes.gif Flashlight Required

UV-yes.gif UV Light Required

Here's a good FAQ for pocket queries:

http://www.markwell.us/pq.htm

I'd create a PQ and leave everything at the default except:

  • the From Origin field would be GC Code, with the GC Code of a nearby cache you've found
  • the Attributes to Include field would specify only the Night Cache attribute

Then, instead of running the PQ, I'd preview it to see what caches appeared. Hopefully that would give me a bookmark list.
