Pup Patrol
Hello, Does anyone know how to view / make visible archived caches? Cheers, Killakul Archived caches do not appear on the map. If you know the cache owner's username, you can view a list of the caches they have placed, including archived ones. If a cache has been archived that you have logged, it will still be in your list of logs posted. And if you run the special "My Finds" pq, archived caches will be included. Those are some possibilities, based on not knowing why you want to see archived cache listings. B. Quote Link to comment
+niraD
If a cache has been archived that you have logged, it will still be in your list of logs posted. The corollary is that they still appear on the list of finds for other people who have found them. I've been able to identify an archived cache that I stumbled upon by looking up the find history of some of the people whose names appeared in the log. Quote Link to comment
+coman123
Find the oldest cache around your area, see who were the first few finders. Look in their profiles for caches found. You will most likely find a bunch of archived caches there Quote Link to comment
+Killakul
Thanks everyone for chipping in. In the meantime we found http://project-gc.com which provides all kind of stats, including archived caches. These are of interest to us in solving a mystery. Cheers. Quote Link to comment
