darrenglynn
Definitely a rookie here, but here's my saga. I'm a classroom teacher for 7th graders in Perham, MN. At the end of May, we're taking a field trip to Maplewood State Park. We do various learning activities there. One student suggest geocaching and I said I'd look into it. It sounds like the kids would love it. If there's anyone in the Perham area that would be interested in working with eager and energetic 7th grade students on the morning of May 25, give me a shout and I can give more details. Please email me at dglynn@perham.k12.mn.us Thanks Quote Link to comment
+IBcrashen
You might want to post this on the MNGCA boards Edit to add, I posted this post link and your request for you on the board here Edited May 6, 2010 by IBcrashen Quote Link to comment
+woody_and_pip
you might want to contact Maplewood as some of the state parks offer gps units to borrow and may have some staff that could help too. I know some state parks around here (glacial lakes) have had geocaching days with seminars for beginners. Quote Link to comment
