Travel Bug in stolen bag

Hi all, my first time here, with a problem.

Last month I had my geobag stolen (as I slept, next to my bed while camping, but that's another story).

I have dealt with the loss of my Garmin, my accumulation of geotools, my cards and money, prescription sunglasses and medication. But in the bag were also 3 TB's I had only just picked up at an event.

Contacted the owners, 1, a local, has marked it as missing.

I contacted the owners of the other 2, to ask for the tracking codes so I can try and replace them. No reply, inactive cachers.

I contacted them again, asking if they can be marked as missing so they are removed from my inventory, No reply.

What else can I do? I dont want them on my inventory forever!

I marked both of those TB's as missing. I'm happy to help! As I will be traveling to Australia next week for a long holiday, I hope this will give me some good caching karma.

To be sure! Good caching karma here especially from Western Australia! many thanks!

Update: due to the diligence of the local police, 2 of our stolen items have been recovered (laptop and ipad). But not my bag or Garmin, I guess the 16 yo thief has no interest in geocaching. He has been arrested on 37 counts of burglary from the campground.

Common belief is that the whole bag would have been binned. I still have hopes it may have been thrown in bushland or sand dunes near the camping ground.

Thanks for your help everyone.

The recommendation of putting the TB's in one of your caches, even if just virtually, has me thinking. . .can a CO still mark TB's as missing if they're listed on a cache they own? If this is the case, the OP could have dropped the TB's in their cache, then marked them as missing.

Yes. But it would add a false distance/location to the trackable. The kind help by keystone surely is the best way.
