This morning I got the error message "403.6 - Forbidden when trying to open a listing IP address of the client has been rejected. The requested page can not be accessed via anonymous proxies." when trying to open a cache listing. There is no anonymous proxy in my LAN and there was no change / update / upgrade of the gateway that I am aware of. Internet - Provider - FritzBox (Gateway) - PC/NB/Mobile Phone The FritzBox has no (anonymous or caching) proxy. It uses a simple NAT, like every gateway and shows the own IP to the world. The IP adress of my FritzBox can used to locate the gateway in Google Maps +/- 20m. Means, tecnically it can´t be anonymous. It does not matter which browser or device (PC/NB/Mobile Phone)I am using, the error 403.6 occurs. It seems to me that the reason for this error msg is outside of my LAN and influence. Since today I can use the message center, create and download queries, use the travel bug site, add a new cache and so on. Just clicking for any cache detail (listing) seem to produce this error. The geocaching apps on the mobile phone are not effected. The listings can be loaded within the app, no error 403.6. The mobile phone uses via WLAN the same external IP address as the other devices. Using the browsers on the mobile phone to open cache listings -> Error 403.6. Does someone else have this prob and/or a solution? Regards, Mhoch5 Quote Link to comment

Does someone else have this prob and/or a solution? Run Tracert and see if your route takes you through any proxy (your provider's proxy?) Hi.. tracert showed 16 hops for my FritzBox to geocaching.com, dunno if some provider (Kabel DE / O2 - Telia - NTT - pnap.net) turned a proxy on. Anyway, why does it just effect the opening of listings? The other features on geocaching.com work fine. I switched the map (Leaflet -> Google Maps), no effect - same error.
