Pocket Query Waypoints

When I download my pocket queries, I get a second gpx file with waypoints. What are these waypoints used for and do I need to keep them on my gps?

The WPX file contains all "additional waypoints" like parking, virtual, physical, reference point... Why you need them? If you don't have them for a multi you will be stuck at the starting coordinates unless you have to look for tags to go further.

Thank you. I have yet to try a multi-cache. As long as I know that I need them, I will keep them.

They're also handy for identifying that one parking spot amongst the many "No parking" signs, or that well-hidden and overgrown trailhead. Many times I've arrived and said to myself "what trail?", then used the trailhead waypoint to find the trail.

Thank you. I really thought that they were just random waypoints that people have added for their own purpose. Now I know better!
