IPOD access to cache page

Up until a few weeks ago when I got a notification of a cache I was watching I was able to click on the "Visit cache" and be taken to the cache page to read it. Now I am asked what APP I want to use to open it and there is only one choice.

If I use the IPOD to go to geocaching.com I can still read the cache pages.

Why do I need an APP to see the same thing when going there from a notification?

That does not work

When I go there from my desktop I get a choice of

Choose an Option:

View with

Geocaching Application

or

View on

Geocaching Web Site

When I go there from my IPOD only the

View with

Geocaching Application

appears

And the only option seems to be to download the application from Groundspeak

As an Android user I can not give you step by step instructions, but the basic idea is you need to change the setting in you iPod that tells the iPod what to do when you click on a link of that type.

Either do some googling based on that clue, or maybe someone here knows how to do it.

Try clearing cookies and data in the browser. That has worked for me when I had the Groundspeak app installed and accidentally defaulted to open cache pages to it. Perhaps that would help get your iPod to work as you want it.

Tried this and it did not work. Thanks though

By the way I am not using an IPHONE or the Groundspeak app. I just want to go to the webpage like I used to be able to when I click on the cache name in the notification email I get from Groundspeak.
