+TriciaG
Say a Premium Member had a couple public bookmark lists. Say that PM let their membership lapse. Would the bookmark lists still be visible (and not able to be edited), or would they disappear from public view? I assume they'd disappear, but I thought I'd ask. Related question: If a Premium Membership lapses for a few months, say, then gets renewed, are the PQ's and bookmark lists still available from the previous membership term? Quote Link to comment

Someone from Groundspeak will have to answer, but I can tell you I've had at least 3 pay pal/credit card screw ups over the years, and may have been non premo up to two weeks, and never lost anything. I imagine they have to go away sometime. I have an Earthcache that was once on an "oldest Earthcaches" bookmark list (it was in fact the first one in New York), and that list has long since disappeared off the page. I always assumed it was due the the creator's membership lapse. Quote Link to comment

Based on my experience of lapsing PM... Public bookmarks remained visible on the cache pages where they were listed. I couldn't edit them, of course, being a Basic Member. Once our PM was restored, all bookmarks, pq's, favorites, etc were returned, just as we left them. B. Quote Link to comment
+TriciaG
Thanks! Good to have some personal experience pipe up. I won't be so worried now about letting my PM lapse, if I don't get to it right away. Quote Link to comment
+narcissa
I let mine lapse for a couple of years because we weren't caching as often, so my husband's premium account was enough for both of us. My bookmarks lists remained available. I only know this because someone at event mentioned using one of them. Quote Link to comment
