TeamCrazySmiths
This may be a very newbie question, and I think I'm using a now-discontinued version of the eTrex, but there have been some caches that direct me to travel "X" degrees from the cache coordinates. I'm not sure how to do this. Is it one of the options I have on my GPS unit? To measure degrees? Is there a way to do this without extra help from the GPS unit? My common sense would direct me to face north, think of a huge circle around me (where I am the center) and then divide that circle into degrees (ie: 90 degrees would be to my right, 180 degrees to my back, and 270 degrees to my left). Any help would be appreciated. I haven't even logged 30 cache finds yet, so I consider myself still pretty new and very much a beginner... But I would love to start challenging myself with harder level finds. Thank you in advance!! Quote Link to comment
TeamCrazySmiths
Thank you! With your info, I was able to go into my unit and find the "Project" option off the cache waypoint screen. Happy hunting! Quote Link to comment
