Feature suggestion - allow reply to 'Didn't find it' logs

HI,

A feature suggestion - I'd like to be able to reply in the electronic log to 'Didn't find it' logs.

For example, after 20 or so 'Found it's, I got a couple of DNFs today, so I went to check the cache.

The cache was in the right place, so, i would like to say this in the log so others are not put off looking.

Might this be possible?

Best,

Richard

If you're speaking of a cache you own, log an Owner Maintenance.

If you're speaking of a cache you don't own, use a Write Note log and say that checked it, and the cache is present.

There are a couple of 14 year old hides near me, cache owners are long gone (as dead), where I routinely add Write Note logs.

People don't hunt them often and one of them in particular seems to be DNFed as often as found. It's always there when get to it. I always add a Write note log that I've been there, and cache is in place.

The cache wasn't found by a pair of cachers with just 1 find. I don't think anyone would be concerned it was missing, but since you already checked, post an Owners Maintenance log for the cache. You can also reach out to the cachers that DNFed if you want and offer a hint though they could likely get a similar hint from the pictures posted from other logs.

Log an "owner maintenance" log, explaining that you have checked and the cache is where it is supposed to be.
