S.E Uk cachers please help

Recommended Posts

We had the genius idea of using a travelbug to choose our honeymoon destination, which happens on 22/5/10.

After sitting in a travelbug hotel (nr Canterbury, Kent) for some 5 months. The very thoughtful owner of the cache took our bug to New York, wow how exciting never been, really happy to be going potentially. Anyway after an absolutley awful day yesterday right at the end Im told an English couple have bought our bug back to Prats Bottom, Kent. Now Woppy my partner thinks this is hilarious, I might agree in a decade or so. Im sure Prats Bottom is a lovely place to some people and I have nothing personal against the place, but it's in our own county and to be frank I feel like I won the lottery, only to find it's a tenner.

Please could someone visit this cache (High Elms) and take the bug to anywhere but Kent, even Slough is looking impressive now

Thanks

Jules <_<

*laughs* lol, the irony

you started the game with your rules eh, you should finish it as intended its about who you go with, not where you go :D

But as it's next door, so i'll see what I can do <_<:)

Yep Im told im not to divert from the rules, but anything you can do will be an improvement and greatly appreciated by me :D

Woppy here this time...

Well... I must say a 6,988.2 mile round trip for it to end up 34 miles from where we live, with a month to go, tickled me pink.

<_<

I had been wondering if it'd make its way 34.1 miles East and end up at the cache we've got hidden in the wall of the church where we're getting hitched. Oooh, that'd be just too good a tale!! ... but how VERY efficient ... I could nip out and grab it whilst waiting for her to arrive and "job done" as they say!! Wedding and Honeymoon all completed the same afternoon :D

Well I see Ryuchan was as good as their word and that Steinbos has grabbed our bug so all is not lost for Jules! Though, I'm gutted, as I had been flicking through the Nauticalia catalogue and been eyeing up the Night Vision Goggles that I could have treated myself to if I could have kept the Honeymoon to a quick day-trip :)

Tee hee!

I'm kind of hoping it ends up in Titsey Hill which isnt that far from Pratts Bottom.

I know a pub in Titsey Hill, lovely fire place and once Woppy's stomping ground.

Anyway Im happy that the bug is out of there- Pratts Bottom has tearful memories of getting lost just off the M25. I thank you and anytime i can help in our area then I will

I salute you :P

Seems there's ample case for a Smutty Schoolboy Placename Innuendo Series...

Spot how many cachers spend hours poring over maps looking for those Frankie Howerd-esk place names :D

I am sure that you are near Titty Hill and another hill that makes me laugh very close by begining with C.

:):D

Times have changed!!... the other week, driving back from Pevensey with our 4 daughters, we drove through N50'51.998 E0'12.191 and it's Northern neighbour and the sniggers and comments I'm sure out-did ANYTHING me and my schoolboy chums would have come up with on such a trip!! :D

This never fails to raise a smirk on my face when I drive past it and the Lower version on my way back from my parents in Bexhill [:D]

I see today the TB has made it to S Australia - if thats to far or with the volcanic cloud interfering with flying - I notice if you pan out the map - many places are the same name as those in UK

Dulwich - Kensington - Winsor - Edinburgh - Piccadilly - Bridgewater - Kilburn - Heathfield - Birkemhead - Camden

Spoilt for choice lol

Wherever you end up - Hope you have a fantastic day - even better honeymoon and a wonderful life
