+zannieandjazzy
What do experienced catchers take with them? I try to have a backup gps source, but that's it. And sandwiches. Quote Link to comment

Link for reference: What do I need to go geocaching? Simplicity is always best Although on longer hikes, I'll take my usual assortment of gear, depending on the length and difficulty (i.e. ten essentials, etc.) Quote Link to comment
+MersonMonkeys
There are other threads out there about this same topic but I love my Geobag which is not complete (I need UV light and a log roller and a few other small items) but here is what is has: Waterproof GPSr, weatherproof pen, weatherproof high-powered LED flashlight, waterproof note book, four SWAG bags, first aid kit, tweezers, magnets, wires, rope, paperclips, water/snacks, and batteries (for the GPS, flashlight, and powered Geocaches). I am sure I am forgetting something but ohh well. Quote Link to comment

+FourFunKiwis
We have a 2L sistema container, that sits in the car all of the time. If it's a wee mission to get to the cache, we chuck it in a bag. -mini torch -multi tool -rubbish bags and gloves - spare glad bags (wee resealable ones) -bag 'o' swag - little rock bugs and loom bracelets, usually. - spare wee notebooks -pencil sharpener -pen -plasters, insect repellent, wet wipes and hand sanatizer. +hoges in wa
OK, I'll bite. What's a log roller look like? Sure would be a useful thing to have. I've tried using small clips etc but the paper just slips around them. Have not been able to find anything with a rough surface that would do the job. Quote Link to comment
