Premium Membership Question

I have been caching since Oct 2001 and have been a premium member for a number of years now. My children are now finally getting to the age that they are getting interested in caching, especially my daughter. After years of caching with my children, I finally decided to open accounts for them so they could log their finds. I even went back through every one of my 1750 finds, found the ones they located with me, and put them into their accounts. But there were many that I could not log as found for them because they were premium caches. Is there a way to link multiple accounts to a premium membership? I just think that paying almost $100 so my children, who cannot even drive, can have access to premium caches is way too much. I can understand not allowing this for people over the age of 18, if they are still interested in doing this, but young children who are only going to be able to go to the caches I go to anyway...

They can log the PM caches, even as a not PM.

 

Go to http://www.geocachingadmin.com and put the GC code of the cache in the GC code field then click the button next to it, "Log".

Or just go to the page to "log a new visit" copy that url and paste it into the browser your daughter is logged into.

Wow, mind blown! Wait'll I tell my daughter. I've been keeping her at a regular membership until she reaches 100 finds so she can *prove to me* it's not a passing interest on her part. This is seriously going to open the map for the two of us to cache together.

You can do this really quick by using two different browsers on the same computer. You can have both accounts open at the same time. Log into the premium account in chrome and go to the log cache page. Copy the url. Minimize. Login to the basic member account in firefox (or ie). Paste the url. Log it.

I do this all the time with my kids. I log mine in the field to keep the order and theirs when I get home. Busy days, I open each premium cache in a different tab and it goes real quick. Back and forth copy and paste. I have had all 3 accounts open at once on the same computer.

iPhone App "Looking4Cache" (official Groundspeak partner) allows online and offline logging for multiple accounts.
