+Geo-Jeddak
In order to finally find the Project APE cache in Brazil, I am seriously considering booking a geocaching tour there at Cruise Planners, a site run by Denise Canavan. Has anyone here on the forum have any experience with this agency and the geocaching tours that it offers? Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
Is that actually a "GeoTour"? Guess I thought it was a private business leading folks to a cache... Quote Link to comment
Rock Chalk
Moving to General Discussions as this is not a GeoTour topic Quote Link to comment
+palmetto
November 6-13, 2015 last years trip. Have you looked at logs on the A.P.E. cache in that time frame? someone who was on that tour could provide info on how it was. There are a bunch, one of the logs mentions 26 cachers in the group. +GC Parrotheads
Cruise Planners is a large company and their agents are franchisees. Nothing wrong with that. Just making things clearer for the sake of the discussion. My travel agent is also with Cruise Planners and is very good. Sounds like a it would be a great trip! Wish I could swing it, but I am afraid our cruises are booked for the foreseeable future and I am sure the wife would just roll her eyes if I brought this one up. Quote Link to comment
+Geo-Jeddak
Thank's for the replies. I signed up for the tour and will hopefully go in March/April 2017. Quote Link to comment
+jellis
I backed out of that trip. I liked the idea and was looking forward to the trip. But when she kept changing the dates and the costs, my head spun. Yes it was great that Argentina waived the border fees, and she couldn't help that the hotel was sold and the bus wouldn't drive out there. But I couldn't handle the delays in the emails when I needed to let my work know when I was going and getting the Visa. I gave up and backed out. Maybe someday I will go but not for a long while Quote Link to comment
