Pub routes

Hi everyone.

 

I'm a UK cacher but this can be a topic for the whole world to join in.

 

I am trying to compile a list of cache routes/trails that have a pub at the start/middle/end as there is nothing more rewarding than some liquid refreshment whilst enjoying your caching.

Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated and most definitely used. We're currently in Berkshire but can and will travel for the right route.

Depending on where in Berkshire you may already have done the WWSW circle. I'm not sure if they're Surrey or Berkshire. It's a few years since I did the circuit but it was a nice walk and there were at least two pubs along the way. One of them became a regular watering hole when we cleared out a load of other caches in the general area.

I know there are two virtuals in Dublin that are pub crawl geocaches, should be easy to find them if you do a search there.

 

I remember though unfortunately I did one of them btu must've mixed up a number, as it was a few hours work but didn't end up anywhere.

Look for a multi in Ghent called Enfant Terrible - the cache is in a bar and the CO picks up your tab for a drink!

This is a good start. We get to Belgium now and again so will definitely look out for that one. I think some kind of 'pub' icon is needed, so when there's a pub on or near the route we can be notified. Also makes searching for pub route caches easier. Keep the suggestions coming please. There are no pubs in northern Illinois?

 

Blimey, I know there used to be bits of the Lleyn which were still dry and afaik there are some indigenous peoples areas which are, but I'm surprised that northern Illinois is dry.

If you put a case on ice in the trunk any route can be a pub route!!!
