+HBHFamily
Hi All, I am wondering if there is a way to filter the so we can look for easy & large/med caches. We have found three so far but the our kids are loosing hope...we hve not found one the last few times we have gone. I am only seeing that I have to look at each one in our area on the site... is there a faster way? Thank you!!! Quote Link to comment
+TriciaG
I'm assuming you're not using the intro phone app. There are two ways: 1. The search page has filters that you can adjust the difficulty range and choose the size(s). https://www.geocaching.com/play/search and click on "Add Filters". These cannot be exported to your GPS at this time. 2. Since you're a premium member, you can make a Pocket Query to get a set of caches with your desired specifications. These are a little more complicated than the search, but you can use them to export the caches to your GPS or phone. Quote Link to comment
+niraD
In addition to using the search tool or PQ filters to identify the easier and larger caches, you could also pre-find the caches before you take your kids there. That way, you could offer them help (hotter? colder?) and encourage them to find the cache. Quote Link to comment

If you're going to do this, you also have the opportunity to salt the mine--add a bunch of small inexpensive toys that would interest your kids to the cache contents. Quote Link to comment
