gridlox
This is NOT a statement toward anyone. Just my attempt into the world of trying to be humorous! While not limited to just forums, sock puppet accounts are a way of life in the world of cyberspace. Below is the coin to commemorate this not-so-great achivement of creating a fake persona to hide when you don't want to tarnish your real account name! Made in Platinum, Sterling Silver, 24 Karat Gold, and a very limited number of Crystal (for those rare few that prefer to be seen through their alternate persona). D-man EDIT: SEE POST BELOW - THIS MAY NOT BE JUST A JOKE AFTER ALL. LET ME HEAR YOUR VOICE Edited April 7, 2006 by gridlox Quote Link to comment

gridlox
Hmmmm... Already recieved a couple of emails asking if we're gonna make them So... let's hear your opinions. If the price is reasonable, and they are made in realistic metals, would you buy? This just might be a reality after all, if the demand is there. +Damenace
So if we are not interested in scratching our name on the coin can we order Tungsten? Quote Link to comment
+budd-rdc
This is NOT a statement toward anyone. Just my attempt into the world of trying to be humorous! I didn't think a disclaimer was needed when offending a Virtual Persona. Shouldn't there be a pre-order requirement of actually having a sock puppet account? I'm interested in a Virtual one. (I now see that people ARE taking this seriously. ) Quote Link to comment

+phoenix-rose
Ha ha ha ha! I think that would make a great avatar for someone....especially if it *was* on a "sock puppet" account! Thanks for the laugh. ~Rose Quote Link to comment
+AtlantaGal
The front is cute, but good luck selling 500 to get the icon. They would have to be dirt cheap if the backside is blank in order for me to buy any. Quote Link to comment
+sundialman
I want one but I would rather not tell you who I am and where to send it. Quote Link to comment

If we make them, some ideas for the back would be to probably have the tracking number info, maybe the GC logo, the outline of a hand, ??? ... , and then a space for "name scratching". gridlox
I love it! I want 10! Please have my real name put on the back. Jeremy Irish Just had a thought... I also design a little bit for a local trophy shop. I bet if you took these to one near you, or a jewelry store that does engraving, they could easily engrave your name in them for you D-man Quote Link to comment
+Chaos A.D./aka Arlsdaddy
I think it would be funnier if you left the back to say what is shown in the picture. You can still engrave a name there too. Quote Link to comment
+The Dream Cachers
I'd like one of these after you work out the details. If I had one, I'd probably have "AKA The Dream Cachers" engraved on the back. Your coin makes me smile! Quote Link to comment
ATMouse
The back could include the phrase "Burning through the forums..." lol! Seriously, develop a backside (did I just say that? ) and make the price reasonable and I'll bite. (Actually, it's dern cute.) Quote Link to comment
+GEO*Trailblazer 1
Why I would leave it blank where the name goes.....after all it is suppose to be a sock puppet. Great idea. Quote Link to comment
57chevy
I want a couple of the Uber LE Cotton. And a couple of whatever metal. I think you may be on to something here! Quote Link to comment
+fox-and-the-hound
It's a great idea and we'd love to get some! If you left the back blank for us to scratch on, the price could stay lower, too! I think we might get a whole new crowd of puppet accounts out of this though Quote Link to comment
gridlox
Why I would leave it blank where the name goes.....after all it is suppose to be a sock puppet. Great idea. But every Sock Puppet has a real person behind it! Hence your "real name" on the back.(Think "behind the sock") Quote Link to comment

+MetroGT
If you do make the coin, I say trim the extra material around the sock puppet and put all the tracking info and such on the back. That way the coin is just a sock puppet on the front. Quote Link to comment

+MetroGT
I'd suggest passing on the Plutonium ones 9Key... the lead containers for them will drive the shipping costs through the roof. Quote Link to comment
