+cachingellies Posted June 22, 2016 Share Posted June 22, 2016 Hi everybody, my friend has just bought a Garmin maps64s and has some problems with sending her PQs to the device. We have stored the PQs on her PC and opened them with GSAK. Then we have used the send to GPS function of the program. This is how I send the PQs to my Garmin Oregon, which usually perfectly works. But we haven't been successful with her Garmin maps64s. It doesn't show the caches although it says that the file is stored in the Garmin/GPX folder. Who can help us to solve her Problem??????? +StefandD Posted June 22, 2016 Share Posted June 22, 2016 How far are the geocaches? More than 100~150 km won't show. Has your new 64s already have had a satellite fix? If not, it thinks it's still in Garmin HQ, and in combination with the distance it won't show caches. Is a filter active? When you go to map mode and you scroll to the place where the caches are, do they still not show? Last but not least, check the \Garmin\GPX\ map on your 64s with Windows Explorer or check it with BaseCamp. Quote Link to comment
