+Team_LPD
So, how good/bad is the 64st? Looks like I might have to start looking for a GPS to replace my 60Csx. But, from what I've been able to gather from reading the forum, the 64st seems to be a PITA to use. I realize there will be a difference from my 60Csx, but I've been reading about not being able to delete the pre-loaded caches, having to do resets, etc. Geez..... Quote Link to comment
+Timpat
You will do well stepping up to the 64st. Yes, there's a learning curve, but it is a great unit full of features. I also was saddened when my trusty 60cx outlived it's useful life. I progressed to the 62s and now have the 64s. I've had no problems and love it. +macatac1961
I emailed Garmin support and they gave me instructions on how to remove the preloaded caches, it was actually pretty easy. They're all in one file. Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
You can always head over to your nearest REI to demo one in the store. Your local gear shop might also have one for you to play with. Quote Link to comment

Go look at the options yourself as suggested. You may like one of the other models better. Quote Link to comment
+gpsblake
I think you will like the 64st over the 60Csx. Feels and looks similar. You will have to learn the software especially that the 64 gives full cache descriptions but it doesn't take long to figure out. Good wishes on your new unit. Quote Link to comment
