Grumposaur
Can the developers please try and make the website options similar to the phone apps? It would be useful if you could have an option on the website that allowed you to see only the caches you hadn't completed on a map. Cheers :-) Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
Click on the thin green bar along the left edge of the website map. Then filter away your finds, bingo. Quote Link to comment
+terratin
While that is true it only works from a certain zoom level. Living in an area with little caches means you have to zoom out more to see some caches - and then the 'filter own finds' toggle doesn't work. Quote Link to comment
Ah1582
Just started this adventure yesterday. So apologies if this is a dumb question. I've looked all over and can't find an answer to this question. Why does the website show all GZ, but the phone app will only show the "free" ones? I'm not a premium member and I found a few while looking online, but when I got in the car to go loom for it and the local park, they were hidden and I had to upgrade. Am I missing something? +K13
Which app, intro or paid? Intro app only shows "beginner" caches, while the $10 paid app shows all (except Premium Member Only caches if you aren't a Premium Member - $30/year). On the website, if you are zoomed out to a point, you see all caches, when you zoom in the PMO caches disappear from view of non-Premium members. Quote Link to comment

If "free", you mean all other caches besides premium member only caches, it's meant that way. Online as a basic member, you can "see" them, but can't get coordinates or zoom to a certain level. Whether you go online, or use the intro, or "backcountry" (FKA paid, full, or "pro") apps, a basic member won't get coordinates or info for a pmo hide. Chance on one, or cache with a premium member, you can log it using one of the "back door" methods (found in a forum search). If you "upgraded", you simply upgraded the app, which even though let's you now see higher D/T traditionals, multis, virtuals, etc, still won't let you hunt pmos without being a premium member. - After finding a few pmo caches, most folks I know use their premium membership for pqs, bookmarks and notifications, with pmo caches pretty low on their "why I became a premium member" list. That should read, "Which app, Geocaching, or Geocaching Backcountry", shouldn't it? Edited May 18, 2015 by knowschad Quote Link to comment
Ah1582
Thanks everyone! Yes, it was the free app on the phone, but actual website on the tablet. I found one on the web that was only 2 miles away from where I live, but when we got in the car to find it, I couldn't access it on the free app. My husband thought I was nuts! Maybe I am...
