For example, in exponential caches, for which a cacher must find at least 2^N caches of various types, can I allow that the waymarks can be used? Waymarking, Benchmarking, and Wherigo-related tasks also qualify. 'Exponential' means simply something like that: Find at least 10 types of caches: 1st type - at least 512 2nd type - at least 256 3rd type - at least 128 etc. Enabling waymarks makes it easier to fulfill conditions for people that live in the regions where there are [almost] no virtuals and webcams... Of course, the owner of challenge may or may not allow waymarks Quote Link to comment
+Harry Dolphin Posted September 21, 2014 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Perhaps you are thinking of Fibonacci Challenge? 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, 1597, 2584, 4181, 6765, 10946, 17711 etc. I got to level 11. Waymarks not listed, but benchmarks were. But, a lot of us do not do waymarks. They're not geocaches. Some of us consider them a very poor substitution for Locationless/Virtual caches. Sure. I could go to the church a few blocks off and log it five times. My thought was: Why bother? It isn't that interesting. Quote Link to comment
