Hi guys, my family and I have started geocaching and loving it!!!! We have a cache box in our truck so we have different treasures to trade. Today we were excited because we found our first travel bug!!!! I'm going to log it and move it to the next Cache box this weekend. My question is in the little zip lock bag that the travel bug was in also had something called a Nano roller for AFM nano... What is this?? Do I need to do something special with this or this a completely stupid question, lol. Also is becoming a premium member worth it? Wasn't sure what the benefits are. Thanks guys!! Happy caching.

I usually leave what's with a Travel Bug alone. People attach them to all kinds of things. There might be a photo on the trackable page showing how the owner released it.

Honestly, Premium Membership is great for Groundspeak and has some advantages, but less so (IMO) if you have the official app. The best part is creating pocket queries, with which you can set all kinds of parameters to search for a group of caches. I do them to see which local caches have trackables, which are night caches, to exclude T5s or micros, and so on. I used to download them for areas when I travel, but with my phone I don't need to do that anymore. The one thing that's particularly nice is turning on notifications of new cache publications. I'm not a first to find hound, but I like to know when a bunch of new ones pop up in a park or trail.
