The trackable tab in profile has an awful layout

As someone who likes trackables and is truly interested in following the paths of bugs we have moved, I find the trackable tab in our profile to be an awful layout.

What I would like:

1. the ability to get one list of all of the trackables we have moved;

a. Right now we only get lists by trackable type - just add a button to list all;

b. We have 70 or so different types which means it's 70 clicks to scan the list;

2. the ability to sort the trackables based on the columns;

a. Right now we are stuck with alphabetical only across 70 different lists;

b. If you are trying to remember the name of one, it's scan the whole list (all 70 clicks);

c. If you are looking for recent activity, it's scan the whole list (all 70 clicks);

3. additional columns I would be interested in seeing:

a. Discovered or moved by user;

b. Date picked up by user;

c. Date dropped off by user;

d. miles moved by user (versus just total for the trackable);

e. Start location of trackable (Country/State).

My honest opinion is sheer lack of the functionality of the trackable tab in people's profile is one reason trackables go missing. The page offers no incentive to care about trackables.

Well, this is something I have been thinking about for a while. Good to see other geocachers think about it as well, and that we share the same opinion.

Basically, what I would be interested in seeing is a way to search your "found" trackables just the same way you are able to search for your found geocaches.

Do people really search and take note on what someone elses trackable is up too?

I've heard of a couple who place others trackables on watch, but now with all the "took it to" logs these days, doesn't seem to be too interesting, really.

I would however like to see moved and discovered separate.

The website needs a whole update on travel bugs anyway. For a newbie cacher it is very difficult to find out how to log a travelbug. The process flow could be more streamlined. If you log a cache as found, why not have the inventory of travel bugs of the cache on the left hand side in the same menu. And put your own inventory on the right hand side. Then select the travelbug from the cache to retrieve and travelbug from your personal inventory to drop.

Then the notification system is a laugh. So much of what the topic starter is naming could be in the e-mail. Now it is a non-information e-mail only telling that something has happened with your travelbug. What has happened? "No, we won't tell you, you have to go to the site".

And of course there should be the option that the possibility of discovering or visiting could be turned on and off.

b.t.w. there is a website geotrib.es . Without this website, I would never had released more than 300 trackables.

I was going to post a new thread for an idea around trackables and log entries. Since it incorporates this thread's proposed (obviously-advantageous and excellent) feature, I will use it as plausible deniability for the bump.

I would like the section of the log page that deals with trackables to look like this:
