+brilang
I've heard there is a short, < 1 mile route from a road to GC17. Can someone please provide a GPS track, or detailed information on where this trail is? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+MtnMutt-ProDuckShins
Have you loaded NW Trails on your GPSR? Quote Link to comment
+brilang
On NW Trails, I can see the Douglas Trail and McIntyre Ridge Trail. I know there's a trailhead at the end of NF105, and I know the road that goes to GC12. I think, but I can't confirm, that there's another road or trail that connects to the McIntyre Ridge Trail closer to GC17. Quote Link to comment
+brilang
I have learned that there is another shorter trail closer to GC17. Parking is at N45 19.076 W 122 03.558. There are some painted boulders there, and a trail up to the ridge and GC17. You can see portions of the trail on Google Maps' satellite view. This route is just under 1 mile one way with around 640 feet of elevation gain to the ridge. This route is only available if the gate to road 3626 is open at the junction just past 1217's Front Door GC15V8K. This information provided to me by BlueMoth who used this route last summer.
