+FshngGC
I just returned two Trackable items into circulation today and am not sure how to enter that information. They are in my collection still and I want to update the information. Quote Link to comment
+FshngGC
I have found a couple of trackable items. They have been logged into my account. Today I put them into new geocache containers. Do I have to show this on my account or does the information simply show the transfer when the next person logs them in. I just don't want them to vanish. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
I am moving this thread from the Geocaching Topics forum to the Travel Bug forum. I encourage the OP to read the pinned threads in that forum section. Quote Link to comment
+acachebox
Go to this site http://www.geocaching.com/track/default.aspx Look at the forth item on center group. That will give you complete instructions on logging a TB Quote Link to comment

Do I have to show this on my account or does the information simply show the transfer when the next person logs them in. I just don't want them to vanish. When you log the cache in which you placed the TBs, BEFORE you submit your log, look at the list of the trackables in your possession (it appears until the window for your cache log). There are drop down menus next to each of the trackables in your possession and you can mark the "Dropped It" option of you left the TB in the cache. (You would use "Visited" if you just want the TB to show that it was at the cache, but not left there). Once you have marked the trackable as "Dropped," then submit your cache log entry. The TB will then show in the cache inventory. If you have already logged the cache, you can either go back and edit your log or just "Add a Note" log to put the TB in the cache. It's best if you do log them correctly so they show proper mileage and don't get lost without being tracked. Thanks for taking the time to ask...we always appreciate people who log travel bugs and geocoins properly! Quote Link to comment
