Photo Competition - December 2014

Recommended Posts

A very big thank you to Ranger Roo for picking my soggy horse photo as the winner for last month :D

(And apologises for the lateness!)

I've picked Water as this month's theme. Whether its the sea, a lake, a pond or even a big puddle, let's see those wet pictures!

Rules:

1) The photo must be cache related and to do with a specific cache in the UK - please include a link to the cache or the GC code so we can see where the picture relates to.

2) Maximum of two photos per caching team or cacher

3) The winner each month is decided by the winner from the previous month - the new winner starting the thread for the subsequent month. They may set a theme if they wish.

Good luck and happy caching :D

It has been a while since I looked at the forums, but I have a couple of photos to enter:

The first was taken at the Falls of Bruar on the way to the cache Built for Burns

A second waterfall and a slightly less arty one from the Bracklinn Falls. We had a DNF there and the cache has since been archived, but it was a great location.

We had a geocoin with us and its mission to travel from cache to cache collecting pictures of phoons, so that's what we did!

Although we have lots of rivers and coastal favourites this one really was a lucky find. Needed to drop off a TB which had escaped the location it was supposed to remain in. So we went as far north as we could to help him get back home and we were treated to this seascape. Taken stood on this cache GC2QJ5G. Merry Christmas everybody!

Good luck everyone

Thanks for picking mine as the winner! I had to look up "Silent Hill" though...

It was a very unpromising day for photos and I nearly left the camera behind. Just shows how it's worth bringing it along on any walk in any conditions.

January's theme is under consideration now.
