I think you missed where to post a problem. This is Off Topic where we post wonderful and silly and sometimes even serious threads about everything or anything except caching.

If you wait till tomorrow, this thread will be moved by a mod to the proper forum, or you could look for "Bug Reports" and post in the forum marked "Website".

Either way, you should be able to get some answers to your problem.....

Wow, 3000 cache notes loading.....ugh!

Good luck.

You probably won't have to wait until tomorrow - what with different time zones and the odd sleep (non)schedules of some moderators!

Suddenly when I upload my field notes it is going back months - loading over 3000 caches. I have the box checked to ignore caches before the date but the check is not there the next time. How can i fix this?

You can fix it by deleting the file that has the field notes (or copy it to another drive and then delete the one on the GPSr), since it regenerates when you log again. Not knowing your particular situation, I'm not highly recommending deleting it, but that would get rid of the glitch with the checkmark.

Hey guys - haven't seen you around in a while, but you keep signing those logs right ahead of us!

Anyway - what you are describing should not happen, but at the same time, the advice above is sound. Periodically, with your 450 connected to your PC, dig into the thing as though it was a thumb drive and look for the file in the Garmin folder called geocache_visits.txt. That's where all of those logs have been stored. Once uploaded, there's no need to retain them on your 450, so you can delete the file. That will certainly prevent them from being uploaded.
