+beck#6
Many catchers of added detail to their profile page. How do I do this? Some include the name of milestone caches, etc. is there a forum which explains this more? I think additional HTML code needs to be added. I may HTML illiterate and would need detailed info. +snow_rules
A lot of people you GSAK or mygeocachingprofile.com to create the page. There are probably other sites or applications that can do it but these two are the ones I am familiar with. Quote Link to comment
+frinklabs
Here's a link to your stats on Project-GC There's a button on there that will create the HTML that you can copy and paste into your geocaching.com profile area, which will embed the Project-GC stats. Something to keep in mind: The statistics are generated on a daily basis for Paying members and on a weekly basis for non paying members. The operation to generate these requires a lot of server resources, and we have chosen to prioritize those supporting the site. That's "paying members" of project-gc, not Groundspeak? B. That is correct. I prefer using the FindStatsGen macro directly in GSAK (on which the project-gc display is based) because of the customization and increasing availability of "plug ins" that are tailored for specific series of caches and displaying maps and other fun stuff like that (look at my profile for some examples). That isn't everyone's cup of tea, however, so this method is probably path-of-least-resistance. Quote Link to comment
+Gill & Tony
I also started to use GSAK and FindStatsGen simply for the profile enhancements, but I now find myself using GSAK for pretty well all geocaching-related activities from planning trips to logging finds. It isn't for everyone and there is a bit of a learning curve, but it works for me. Quote Link to comment
