Map Improvement

This may have already been discussed. But I would like to recommend blue frowny faces (did not find) to the maps in future updates to your website and app. Looking at a decent size city map, I'd then see the ones I found, the ones I didn't find and the ones left to be searched for. Of course, if I go back and find one I didn't find before, the website would change it from a blue frowny face to the yellow smiley! Just my two cents.

I'd rather have some sort of indication for DNF than cache type, though changing the standard icons to blue ones would also get the point across in both senses.

I track my DNF watch list in a separate GSAK database, and show different icons for them when I use Mapsource or Basecamp to route a map for a caching day.

But wouldn't you still want to know from a quick glimpse on the map whether these are traditional, multi or unknown caches?

No, it really wouldn't matter what type of cache it is. If I ever decide to go back, I'd point and click on it to get the details. Also, blue frowny would jog my memory and I could go back and see if someone after me found it...letting me know "I just missed it!"

My proposal is to leave the cache type icon the same, but change the background square to a different colour, red, blue, whatever. That way, you still see the cache type but also have the visual cue you have registered a DNF against it.
