Premium Member, do I need to upgrade the app?

I am fairly new to geocaching, but I already love it.

I just upgraded to a premium membership but I still have the intro app. Do I need to pay to upgrade the app too? Isn't it included in the premium package?

Let's assume that Premium Membership is a condition mainly related with your account on the site.

You can play with a smartphone app without logging on the site as a Basic Member, but if you want to have all the features of a PM, you need to logon and upgrade from BM to PM.

Again, these are different things.

With the "full" app, you will see all types if geocaches (instead of just easy Traditionals).

Now that you upgraded your Basic Membership to Premium, you can create Pocket Queries, grant Favorites, etc.

 

In Brazil we have around 3300 published caches, and almost 2100 available.

São Paulo has more than half of the caches... and the last Ape Cache in the world also. The rest of the country states has much less each one.

In Amazonas we have almost 100, and you are more than welcome to visit us.

Normally I offer a tour around Manaus.

Only you can decide if you "need" the paid app.

If using the Intro app, I suggest you Log Out, and Log Back In, if you haven't already since upgrading you membership.

 

The Intro app should then show a few more caches for you...

 

If you want to see ALL cache types, you will need to pay for the full app.
