Firehouse16
I just got my Garmin 64ST, installed the City Navigator maps and also a 32GB sd card. The problem is I'm not seeing the card listed in Basecamp. Am I missing something here or have I done something wrong? Quote Link to comment
coggins
Maybe set interface to spanner mode Quote Link to comment
JohnCNA
I have my 64s set to Garmin Serial. I can see both the internal memory and the SD card. They show up as two separate drive letters in Windows Explorer. No problems with BaseCamp. Do you see the internal memory using Explorer? If you see the internal memory but not the SD card, I would put the card in a card reader and make sure it's formatted as FAT32. Quote Link to comment
Red90
You must be in mass storage mode. If you are in "spanner" mode, it will ask when you connect. In "serial" mode it will go there directly. As above, the card must be formatted in FAT32. A new card is probably formatted in exFAT by default. Quote Link to comment
Firehouse16
Thanks for the replies, it appears the card wasn't seated properly in the GPS. How dumb I didn't check that first. Quote Link to comment
