I wouldn't spend the extra money on the Rino unless you are going to use its position broadcasting capabilities. It may come in handy for hunting with friends (if they also have a Rino) and a few other outdoor applications, but really isn't very useful for geocaching. Between the two, if it is just for geocaching, hiking and boating, I'd go with the eTrex 30. If you have the extra money to spend, the 64S or Oregon 600 (if you prefer touch screen) would be good choices.

The Rino can be great if you are with a group of other Rino users, for instance hunting when you a may split and need to know the location of your buddies. But they all need to be using one too for that to work. Other than that you are paying money for features you may never use. If you really need a FRS or GMRS you can get a decent one a lot cheaper.
