Erase cache from GPS device

Connect it to a computer. Open Garmin's Basecamp program and delete caches in the program OR open Garmin/GPX/ directory on the device and/or the card and delete any GPX files that contain caches.

I have it connected to my pc but the caches don't show up. I have managed to delete tracks and waypoints, but the caches do not show.

You probably have cache files installed on the 64 when you got it, these are stored in .ggz files which Basecamp won't read I think. Use Explorer on your PC and delete any .ggz files you find.

More info on those files here

Well, no I have downloaded them from geocaching.com anyhow I'll try to delete any .ggz files I find.
