+mlplatt Posted April 29, 2016 Share Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) stopped by home depot today and on my way out I saw they had free water sample kits. grabbed a few as I thought they would be great to hold a log. they are made to be mailed with water in them, so they must be pretty water tight. They're made to ship out once-n-done, so not sure how they'd hold up sorta long-term outdoors. Even though close by, unless well into the woods, I don't usually head to caches with similar containers. If you're gonna try 'em out, please return after your product test. Thanks ! Yeah...they probably turn brittle after long-term exposure. I saw that with a specimen jar cache I found. Things like that normally aren't meant to be handled multiple times. Quote Link to comment
