nine999
Hi- im less than a week into GeoCaching and i am TOTALLY nerding out on this. Found my first cache last night and dadgum if i didn't come close to peeing in my pants! Anyway- i was wondering if there are any apps for Droids other than "Geocaching" that help? Can anyone suggest a GPD app? I have down loaded three already and none allow you to enter coordinates. nine Quote Link to comment
+coachstahly
Which three have you downloaded? I think most offer that option, but it's not particularly clear on how to do it. Quote Link to comment
the3gmen
I have used GCDroid for over a year and am very happy with it. I am using it as a Premium Member so I am not sure which features would be different for a non-premium member. Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
Here's a list of the supported apps, that is, ones that have official access to do their work. Plenty of selection for Android. (iPhone, not so much...) https://www.geocachi...obile/partners/ I use Locus Pro, 4.8/5.0 on the Play Store. Powerful and deep. Quote Link to comment

Don't know what you mean by "allow you to enter coords" but in GDAK you can add waypoints (even with formulas) and "correct" coordinates. and there's more off course. Quote Link to comment
+coachstahly
I think the OP is referring to multis (my guess) and entering coordinates to the next stage. If not, perhaps for a hide of their own - creating a waypoint to get coordinates for GZ. Quote Link to comment

Groundspeaks own app (the paid for one) will allow you to add coordinates. However... You do need to be 'Navigating' to the cache, eg Having found the first stage of a multi, you are now searching for the next stage of that multi. Quote Link to comment
+TazmanianDevils
I use GCDROID and you can add extra waypoints to the original cache as well as correct coord if you are doing a mystery cache. Quote Link to comment
