+speakers-corner Posted October 23, 2016 Author Share Posted October 23, 2016 Hi mineral2 no it doesnt. I have tried a "Hard Reset" but nothing happens. It doesnt even show up when I connect it to the computer (Windows Explorer). It does show up when using the Webupdater, but the download is damaged. Quote Link to comment
+Red90 Posted October 23, 2016 Share Posted October 23, 2016 (edited) Try booting while holding the joystick up to force mass storage mode and try the update. There are ways to also force change the firmware, if you Google around. You can also call Garmin and they will provide instructions. If mass storage works, download the GCD file: http://gawisp.com/perry/etrex/eTrex_10_20_30/eTrex10_Webupdater__320.gcd Copy it to the Garmin directory on the Etrex and rename to GUPDATE.GCD, then reboot.
