Where do I go for Wherigo tutorial

Hey there. I have been geocaching for a while but have never done a Wherigo. I'd like to attempt one but have no idea how to work it. I have a garmin gpsmaps 62s, an iPhone and a garmin etrex h. Where can I go for a good tutorial?

I'd pick the phone to try one out on, there is an app for that. They have some play anywhere ones that are good for trying it out.

I second the smartphone suggestion. I don't have an iPhone, but the Android app for Wherigo cartridges made the whole process a breeze.

Ok. Thanks. It's the whole process I'm not sure about, but YouTube has some tutorials so I'll start there.

I learned a few things from your outline, but I cant quite get my head around it. I live quite a ways from the nearest Wherigo so I want to have some understanding. I have downloaded a cartridge to my iphone and have read some of the background information. I just want to have a basic outline of what to do. I assume once I have downloaded the cartridge that I go to the posted coordinates on geocaching.com and start the cartridge but then how do I know where/what to do next?

It depends on the cartridge, the ones I've done you get into the zone, something happens, then you go to the next zone, rinse and repeat to the end. One thing to know is that you will end at a physical cache, but the cartridge may just give you the final coords and you then use another app to get to the final.
