+indigo1975
I cannot download a working version of Gamins Communicator to any of my current browsers, including Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Firefox, which means I cannot swiftly save my caches using the Send to GPS option. I see I can download 1 cache at a time by downloading the file to Pc and then transfer over, but is really my only option??? Should I be able to download a group of caches together, rather than 1 at a time? Quote Link to comment
+indigo1975
I have Microsoft Edge and that doesn't work. Nor does Firefox. I cannot download older IE as its not compatible with Windows 10. Quote Link to comment
+indigo1975
Well done! Thank you! Also found, just by trial and error and 6 browsers later Opera works! Quote Link to comment
39_Steps
Following my latest Java upgrade a couple of days ago, Oracle posted a notice stating that Java was not supported in the new Microsoft Edge browser and suggested trying MS Internet Explorer or perhaps another browser or two. Note that MS Internet Explorer 11 may be downloaded as part of the free Windows 10 upgrade package, along with Edge. I now have both IE 11 and Edge on the Windows 10 upgrade, but have never used a browser other than those supplied by MS and have never downloaded Caches from Groundspeak with a plugin. I did have a Premium membership for a year just to see how the Pocket Query zipped download worked (just fine) even though I do not actively search for hidden Geocaches.
