+MillBarn
Sneaked out and just hidden my first ever 2 Geocaches. I feel like a naughty schoolboy. Now just got to sit and wait until verified - it's like waiting for Christmas all over again - I am more excited than the kids! Quote Link to comment
+BAMBOOZLE
Good for you. Hiding caches can be more fun than finding them. Quote Link to comment
etarace
When I hid mine I was constantly staring at the screen, waiting for it to finish review. Then I was constantly staring at the screen waiting for the first finds. It's a great way to consume your life. Quote Link to comment
+Ambrosia
After 12 years, I still wait expectantly near my computer whenever I place a cache. I think to myself that it's silly after all this time, but I can't help it. I just placed another cache, and was gratified when it was logged within a half hour of publication. Quote Link to comment
+The_Incredibles_
It's exciting, isn't it? Even after 60+ hides, I feel that way. Quote Link to comment
+nosynellies
I never got that experience when I hid my cache. I placed it early that morning and submitted just before leaving for work. By the time I got home, it had been reviewed, published, and found! It was exciting to watch the rest of the finds trickle in, though. Quote Link to comment
+ngrrfan
Try having to wait almost 6 months before your cache is found. Its like watching paint dry or grass grow. Quote Link to comment

+The_Incredibles_
Congrats! It's OK to become addicted. Geocaching is the best addiction there is and a healthy one at that. Quote Link to comment
+MillBarn
AND to top it off, I have just had my first FTF! Can I get any more excited. I'm off for a lie down. Quote Link to comment
Andronicus
I almost never loose sleep even over very major issues in my life. However, when waiting for a cache to get published, I usually loose sleep, worrying that someone beat me to hide at that spot, or that it is too close to the final of a puzzle or multi, or maybe the reviewer will find a guideline violation that I missed, etc. Strange. +Yensid40
I hid and submitted a cache 5 days ago and it hasn't been reviewed. I know they say wait for a week but I am curious, how long have you guys all waited? Quote Link to comment

+wmpastor
Try having to wait almost 6 months before your cache is found. Its like watching paint dry or grass grow. Your sad experience shows the merit of placing lamppost caches. They're found the first day! Quote Link to comment

I know they say wait for a week but I am curious, how long have you guys all waited? It's a weekend, in the summer...might be a very busy time for your reviewer and new cache submissions. Did you receive the email from Groundspeak that confirms your cache was submitted? Have you checked to see if your reviewer left any notes that you should respond to? This Help Center article might be of some help: Help Center → Hiding a Geocache → Review Process: Hiding a Geocache 1.4. My geocache has not been reviewed http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=81 and this one: 1.7. I know they say wait for a week but I am curious, how long have you guys all waited? Pup Patrol has some good information. I checked up on your cache, and you did submit it to be reviewed. But it does look like there are a lot of caches that have been submitted recently in MA, so I'm sure that your reviewer will get to reviewing your cache soon. Quote Link to comment
+MillBarn
I submitted my GC and the very next day a small query was raised which I corrected. The GC was published the next evening. Super quick. Quote Link to comment

Looks like I just need to sit and wait. As described above, that's pretty hard. Quote Link to comment
