+claireHelena
Hi all, Apologies if this has been brought up before but I am very new to this. The other night whilst coming home from a quick cache I saw a bus with a geocaching symbol on a a poster on the back of the bus. Below the big symbol was a code starting AOQ or ADQ any ideas what this might have been. I tried googling it and searching these forums to no avail. Help appreciated.....thanks. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Kind of like this one? ...Or maybe like this? Cling or decal-type Travel Bug stickers. Meant to be seen just as you saw it. The "start" of the code you saw was a part of the tracking number -- you need to entire number to log it. +claireHelena
Thanks for replying. No it was more like the four quadrants symbol; yellow with a man in the top left, then green to the right, with an orange flag below this with a blue part of a circle. Apologies currently on my ipad. I have the whole code but am not sure what, if anything, it is. Quote Link to comment

I have the whole code but am not sure what, if anything, it is. IF it's trackable at Grounspeak, enter the code in this page > http://www.geocaching.com/track/travelbug.aspx You can then log a 'Discover' for the TB. DON'T post the number in a public place. (like here!) edit... Have to say, your log on "A sign prior to harris" is a BIG spoiler for the cache... It wouldn't suprise me if the cache owner deleted it. Part of this game is the 'suprise' of the cache, and not having other finders spoil it. Edited July 22, 2014 by Bear and Ragged Quote Link to comment
+TriciaG
Try searching by the code and see if it comes up. http://www.geocaching.com/track/ Put that code in the "Enter the Tracking Code of the Item" box and see what happens. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Still could be a TB. ex: create or have made a sticker of your own design (even copying a Groundspeak item) and apply a tracking code to it. Quote Link to comment
+niraD
I've seen vehicles with trackable stickers, where someone bought a TB and then used number/letter stickers to put the code under a standard geocaching sticker. It sounds like that's what this could be. Quote Link to comment
