I accidentally deleted all of the files on my Explorist GC

I accidentally deleted all of the software on my GPS so now it does nothing. Please if you can tell me how to get the files back or where I can find the files you would be a huge help. Right now when I turn on my Explorist GC you see a white screen with factory settings. The last thing I want to do is have to go and buy a new one. I would really appreciate it if someone with the Explorist GC could email me the zip.

Have you tried reinstalling the firmware? This link might allow you to download it and install. Although you may have to install an earlier version first. This Advice from another thread might help.

I tried that but it wont work unless you have a previous version, and I currently have no version

If it recognises the device as an external drive, you could try and recover the files with Recuva. This will give you an indication if the files are still salvable, make a copy onanother drive (this is important), and then you can write them back to your device. If the device uses a boot-sector, that might be overwritten, in which case this probably won't work.
