Could anyone registered to the NL forums on geocaching.be forward this to an admin?

 

I tried sending this report through the "contact" section on geocaching.be, but I received a 500 - Internal Server Error.

Hi, dear maintainers of the geocaching.be website and forum!

 

Since 2 days, it looks like the french-speaking forums are unaccessible.

 

When browsing to :

http://www.geocaching.be/ipb-fr/index.php

I get an error code :

Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /home/geocache/public_html/ipb-fr/beheerder/applications/forums/modules_public/forums/boards.php on line 58

 

Thanks for having a look at this, and thanks anyway for the good job done maintaining this website for the Belgian community! :-)

We found the root cause.

 

Our hosting provider did an upgrade of PHP to a newer version, which is incompatible with the current version of the forum software.

 

I keep you informed.

Steps for adopting or transferring ownership of a Trackable:

 

Log in under the account that currently owns the Trackable and visit http://www.geocaching.com/adopt/. This page is used for adopting or transferring ownership of a geocache, but it will also work for Trackables.

Enter the reference code (TB# found on the top left of your Trackable's reference page, NOT the tracking number) and click "Lookup" in order to confirm the item.

Enter the Username of the new owner and click "Go."

Click on "Send Adoption Request."

The new owner will receive an email. They should log in to the site and follow the adoption instructions provided.
