shaunjayne
I'm sure that this has been asked before but I can't find it and I'm going to ask again. Can I enter GPS coordinates into an iphone 4S? There are some caches that I need to decode and enter the coordinates to find them. Thank You in advance Quote Link to comment
+Chief301
Yes, this question is asked often. While navigating to a cache, in the map view screen, tap the little button in the upper right hand corner, the one with the three little dots on it (in older versions of the app it's a little flag). +Loiseau85
I just found this thread when googling the same question. Chief, I can't see any button in the top right hand corner of the caching app I downloaded from the geocaching.com website recently. Top left there are one or two, but they don't seem to offer the inputting of coordinates. Quote Link to comment
+Red90
It has changed. You need to be navigating to a cache first and then the option to add a waypoint shows up. http://www.geocacherscompass.com/true-north/add-a-waypoint-in-the-Groundspeak-geocaching-app/ Quote Link to comment

The Groundspeak Help Center can sometimes be a wonderful place to check: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=416 Note that you need to be engaged in navigating to a cache in order to have the option to add a waypoint, and... it is applicable only to the (paid) Pro-app. If you have the Intro-app, this does not apply. The Help Center does not address this issue (for the Intro-app) -- I do not believe the Intro-app was designed to do Mystery, Puzzle or Multi-caches. It is designed for beginner-level finds only. I have both apps loaded to my iPhone and just tried them both, confirming the above. The Intro-app doesn't even show the multi-cache that I did with the Pro-app! Quote Link to comment
